5.  #ValleyShores #4thofJulyCelebration

The summer brought us home! Austin, Anona Samantha, Felicity and Charlotte came a week before everyone else!  It was super fun to get to visit, read stories, watch fun show and play in the Lake.  When Gramma got here we did puzzles and had great visits!

The Lake and the Boat were a hit! Kathy, Don and Rachel brought life and, patience and family memories and togetherness.  Apryl did not tell me that she was going to drive out from Vermont to Nebraska!! I was sad that everyone couldn't be together and then ... BAM! there she was ... along with Vaughn, Pax and Gage.  It was so cool I was super happy and way excited to see them all.

I will note that in review of my past Christmas letters I have commented on favorite TV & Movies! All I can say is - WOW! Nothing is appropriate and everything (just about) is depressing and negative ... I would caution all in their choices of media and that's all I have to say about that!!!!

 6.#Dairies!DARIES!DAIRIES!

This is a Tornado on our travels! There really are no dairies in this section because they are "work" pictures and they are "Confidential"! Amric is here with Elder Strong and below them is a horse track in Nashville, Tennesse was beautiful!

7. #Vaughn turns 8 and is baptized

We loved our Drive to the east.  and our HOT Time along the way.  We went to Chicago and toured - I do love Chicago!  We were blessed to see the church history sights along the way.  Shawn was very brave to come on this long of a trip with us! While in Chicago Richard interviewed for a job in Washington!  From Vermont he flew there for an interview, thus I was at the wheel and drove all the way home.  By the time we got home I think Shawn was thinking - "What the heck?!!!

8. #Washington #backtotheNorthWest
The Omaha Mission asked us to invite the Sister missionaries to live in our house.  We fasted and prayed and felt like this was the thing for us to do.  The day within the ½ hour that the sisters were moving in we got the oFFeR to move back to the NorthWest.  We asked How can we feel good about both things?  The answer was a 6 week transfer! As we readied our house in Valley Nebraska to sell and worked with the missionaries we learned two things timing, and offerings . Immediately We listed our house we cleaned, we prepped, we “staged”, we raked the sand on the beach, we mowed the lawns, we did everything we could to present the home so that someone “that one” person would want to make an OFFeR!  But could we make someone buy our house?  No! So knowing that this needed to happen quickly and not knowing what else to “go and do”, We fasted together, I fasted individually.  I know that when I fasted I literally felt the feeling “I have nothing else to give, nothing else to offer” Please help us sell our house.  All the while the sisters were asking us about people in the ward, for help in teaching them, and driving people to church!  It amazed me ALL the people I did not know in our ward!  It’s not an easy thing for me to go and do to OFFER service it’s kinda out of my comfort zone A LOT!  Thru this 6 week transfer We learned so much about the Lords timing and the words MAKE AN OFFER!
Two days before we were to load up and take off for Washington Zane and Marion came to Nebraska and helped us load up and drive west!  What a kind and thoughtful thing for them to do.  I wanted to drive all the way cuz I just like to drive but too, I'd already driven from the east coast I wanted to drive to the west coast to check that off my "bucket list" to drive across country - Check!  When I dropped Marion off in Vancouver I cried all the way to Seattle, I guess it finally sunk in ... we were starting over again! This time as semi empty nesters!  Richard has his new routine! He loves his job he is an AG Appraiser thru and thru!  HE has switched from FORD to CHEVY!

I look forward to the Sobczak family Christmas letter every year!!! This one did not disappoint. You're so good to see the things Heavenly Father is teaching you. I wish I was better at that.

Love to you and your family!
