2014 "PROJECTS"

As One Might Say "2014 is going to be My Year"  :)

I say "Projects" because it is a list of things I NEED to get done before... heaven forbid another move! or I die!!! Also, I want it to mean I am really doing something, accomplishing something, not just new year goals or resolutions.  I WANT TO COMPLETE AND DO PROJECTs. My theme for the New Year ... Give myself Wholly to each and every "PROJECT"!  14 being the year I will list the top 14 Projects on my list and go from there!

My 2014 Scripture Link; Omni 1:25 and 26  - Doc and Cov 12:8 and then to 123:14-17. They play out like this in my mind and heart...

I am SUPER SIMPLE but I can offer myself wholly to the project, the calling, the family (not in that order prbly!), be humble, cheerful and then stand still and listen! 

well thats my perspective of them and how I "Project" to see 2014 play out!!!!

of course with the theme from last year - Exert Yourself and be Considerate as my foundation!!!!

1. VHS to DVD Home Movie. 
2. Quilts out of rags and tshirts (cleaning house of extras).
3. Remind myself how to and then make hook rag rugs - I remember Liking it when I was young (really I have this many rags and tshirts around the house) - I like to keep things!
4. POaST - Blog one year a month (need to catch up since the move) and then continue as I was already doing.
5. Learn daily
1. Budgeting ... money and healthy eating; apply to menu, habits and finances.
2. Educate ... genealogy, writing and religion. I could write a book!
3. Computer ...Learn how to use this blasted thing!  Then Clean it up.  For instance my photos are a mess they exist 1 -400 times each!!!! YIKES!
4. Spanish!  I promised Marcela I'd try it again!!!
6. A journal Blog. . .Update Journals into blog and throw away journals no on wants them, I don't anyone to have to go thru them.     Again -A BOOK??? Entitled - Purely fiction mawhahahahahaha!
7. A Wedding.
8. A Mission Blog.
9. Arrange 6 and 8 into hard copies.
10. Garage it's definitely better than before the move, but still needs work.

MONEY! Nanny's Advice...

..what I was going to say before my suggestion to you and Richard is to NOT think of your family being poor, but think of yourselves as being smart enough to start at the bottom and going up instead of trying to start at the top and falling down.  Try,m also to remember that it is certainly no disgrace to not have money.  Also, it is wrong to pretend you have it when you don't.  There is no integrity or honesty in so doing.  Maybe you think I enjoyed saying for most of your life -- "we haven't the money", No I did not!  But neither was I ever ashamed of it.  Many times saddened by it, but never ashamed.  Personally I feel like kids nowadays should her "no it's not in the budget a little more".  I dread to see what would happen to OJ if something happened that he can't have everything he thinks he needs.  Even more so than M! 

...I am so glad that you are having a good experience with AJ, it will help you appreciate Appie and Aussie Man more as well as help make the bonding between you and the kids stronger.  I sincerely hope you can make it without going back to work, but if you do I am also sure you will be more aware of the need to do things with the kids and never neglect them as you might be tempted to otherwise.  There is always some good to find in any situation and lesson to be learned.  So many times I read something about kids and think, "wonder if Kel saw this?"  I remember you asking; what are you being tested for?'  I truly believe it is to mostly to see how really committed you are to just plain living the gospel.  You also mentioned that is much harder to stay home and not have that income than you expected it to be.  Please, be aware that old Satan will try his hardest to convince you it isn't worth it to stay home and be a mom.  There is no law that you can't want!  The trick is to concentrate on what you DO have and not to add to Richard's stress.  If you two can just remember to put the Lord first and all things will be added to it. 
Baby girl, there is so much I want to say to you I do not know where or how to finish...just to say to you that I reaffirm my deep love, my pleasure in your many accomplishments, the real joy you are, the wonder of your little ones and the since of endurance you are showing.  The fact you deliberately chose to make a success of your marriage and your life is one of great importance and is worthy of admiration.  Be know that I only advice in caution to help you live within your means, and always pay your tithing!  Love, Mama

 When we were first married I worked out side the home a regular 40+ hour week but I also had hustle - which my momma taught me, putting me to work at age 5 around the home and into the work force at age 12!    I wanted nice Christmas cards (or maybe my mother just did) anyway she sent me out to sell ... so I sold door to door in the 120 degree heat in August "Christmas cards" with the senders named engraved on the envelope and the in the signature spot!!!   I wanted to have nice jewelry so I sold Park Lane.  I wanted to have nice make-up so I sold Jafra!  I wanted to travel so WE sold Travel Max!!!  Pretty Burnt out on the sales end of things and never really making more than I spent on these self entrepreneurial adventures I was ready to turn down the likes of Real Lebeuf trying to get me to sell Pre Paid Legal!!!!  But when I went to the mall this weekend with Amric to buy him shoes the Israeli sales lady at the kiosk in the mall saw me coming a mile away and knew I hadn't been out of the house all winter!!!! Then there is hubby who went to get a little help loosing weight ... that complete nutrition guy saw him gettin' out of the car.  And here we sit tonight, with our buyers remorse; lotions and pills and the fluff fund EMPTY! all in one day!!!!!
