"A" Sobczak Standing in the Midst

Something great happened in my family a month and a half ago. My son, Amric, stood up for what he knew was right and turned in his gear to his favorite sport;football. He came to me on a Wednesday after school when he came to get his football clothes so he could to practice, so i thought. He the told me how he no longer wanted to play the sport of football. How could this be i thought, he's been playing this game since he was in the third grade. I then found out my son was making a stand for higher ground. His coaches were using offensive remarks and language they offended my sons' spirit so far he no longer wanted to play. His coaches also used intimidation and fear to get the kids to do what they the coaches wanted them to do. This also led into Amric not doing wrestling another sport that he's grown to love. I guess when the spirit is offended you have to make the right decision. Amric has gone through many a name call this past month and im sure he will go through more because of wrestling but im sure he will be safe because im sure that Heavenly Father will be watching over him.
