I am grateful for R - Radio Flyers

The Radio Flyer Wagon is an icon to childhood

One year we were flat busted, we'd lived on commission for 9 months - no income, he wasn't working sales he was working in loans.  Anyway I regress, to keep our heat on we decided to have our one and only garage sale.  Austin offered; "I will put my wagon out there if it will help us mom".  Words I've kept close to my heart all these years    This was something he loved.  He and Apryl, along with the neighborhood kids spent hours and hours playing outside with wagon.  This was a child willing to sacrifice.

Joel and Amric
Amric and Trevor
Years later when we had Ayris ... Austin, remembering the fun times with his wagon insisted we buy one for her so that she could create and have those same memories.  She was not receptive or interested in playing on or near this red wagon!  But a few years later Amric stepped up and the things he did do with this wagon....  Just one quick story, one time he and Joel and Trevor were out on the hill behind the house taking turns dragging the wagon up the hill and then getting in it and zoom zoom zooming down the hill!!!  the handle was very dangerous to the rider so after a few times was removed!
