Best Wishes for my Friend....

Urlene - Happy Birthday

Today March 13th  is the birthday of my first best friend.  First best friends are like your first love, never forgotten and lots of memories.  I'd like to share a couple of memories, I actually have so many but some silly ones go like this!
urlene,kelly,renee
urlene at my wedding

  • We would like to play primary!  I would always want to be the chorister and make Urlene play the ironing board (piano!).
  • Mom would always leave me a list of chores and I would bribe her to do some of them and pay her with penny's that my Dad kept in a paper sack!

  • We went to Primary on Wed after school the bus would drop us off there at the church  and when it was over we would walk home! It was so fun!  We (with Debbie) would stop at "Kennys Hamburger Shop" and dance to the juke box!!! yes in front of the customers!!!

  • We would sit on the step by my brother Tom's room and sing.  Once we were singing "Popeye" I'm popeye the sailor man i live in a garbage can... Tom came out and and just yelled at us that he was going to put us in a garbage can if we didn't shut up!  We were scared and laughing all at the same time!

  • We loved to go to our friends house and play like we were the "Monkees"  we knew ALL the songs!!! Hilarious!!!!
  • we were always dressing up for something! Halloween, Pioneer Day, Christmas, Dances, Dancing, Choir, you name it!!!
  • We used to go TP new houses of guys we liked
  • we went to camp together

  • we locked all the doors and checked on the gas and water
  • I was so happy for her when she found happiness with Mike and they were married.

  • One of my favorite memories was our vacation to colorado with my mom.  What a whoot! We drove mom crazy with our songs and chatter!!!
  • I will always be grateful for Mike's friendship and the fact that he was there to baptize Richard.  Isn't that great that my best friend married a guy that was ready and willing to baptize my husband.

Fear the Fork!

  • When Austin wanted to check out ASU she was there for him and took him in and showed him the ropes!

I only have Good Memories.  Thanks for being a great and wonderful friend!!!!!
                                       Urlene, have a gr8 day!
Hope you enjoy your family - I love that your girls and family are there for you!
Love you Urlene

Singing Dead ... yet another Dream

Emotional Goodbyes and Discord????

The dreams, they just keep on coming!  More real more complete, more colorful!  If I could just put it all together I probably would have all my life's questions answered!!!
the Lyman family in Blanding 1956

To begin with my mom was singing to me - She NEVER SANG! I never heard her sing except at church!  One thing she always liked about going to the Lyman Family reunions and get togethers was that they always sang.  In the dream, ;like I said She was singing in a quartet, with the "sisters Lyman" by the way.
I was leaving to go into another room and she wanted to come too, but I oh so diplomatically sat her down on a pew.

When I went into the other room it was mostly white, with Drapes hanging from ceiling to floor and wall to wall.  For some unknown reason I started to clean - I was dusting with a rod and feather that reached to the top of the drapes.   In the corner was a cob web, I was pulling it away from the wall and down when all of a sudden I realized there were bugs.
Then I saw it a nest??? that looked like a hive, but it wasn't bees - it was little tiny bugs.  Thousands and thousands of them. When I went to knock it down the bugs flew at me and I ran back to the room with my mom.  She wasn't there any more.
The scene pulled back like a camera pulling away and I was standing in a large room that looked like a chapel, with a piano, pews and me no one else.
The piano started to play by itself no one singing or playing,
but it was our old piano (remember the green one!) completely out of tune  (I can't hear a tune if I had too, yet I knew it was out of tune)..... fade to black!!!

Holy Moly now my dreams have directors!!! CUT!

Interpertation:
Singing
To sing in your dream represents happiness, harmony and joy in some situation or relationship. You are uplifting others with your positive attitude and cheerful disposition. Singing is a way to celebrate, communicate, embrace and express your feelings.
To hear someone sing in your dream signifies emotional and spiritual fulfillment. Your mood is changing for the positive as your outlook in life is looking up.
Dead
To see or talk to the dead in your dream forewarns that you are being influenced by negative people and are hanging around the wrong crowd. This dream may also be a way for you to resolve your feelings with those who have passed on. Alternatively, the dream symbolizes material loss. If you dream of a person who has died a long time ago, then it suggests that a current situation or relationship in your life resembles the quality of that deceased person. The dream may depict how you need to let this situation or relationship die and end it......
To see and talk with your dead parents in your dreams represent your fears of losing them or your way of coping with the loss. You are using your dream as a last opportunity to say your final good-byes to them.
Bug
To see a bug in your dream suggests that you are worried about something. It is symbolic of your anxieties and/or fears. What is literally bugging you? Consider also the popular phrase "bitten by the bug" to imply your strong emotional ties or involvement to some activity/interest/hobby.
Piano
To dream that the piano needs to be tuned indicates some aspect of your life is in discord. You need to devote more time to a relationship, family duties, project, or other situation.

Was is worth it?

Went to the cemetery to pay honor to my parents.

This is my Daddy

This is my Mother!
I wondered if they think I amounted to anything and if all they went thru for me was worth it?

As parents we go through lots for our kids.  We probably only realize and maybe a little bit understand it, after we have children ourselves.  It can be a very unselfish thing to bring children into this world. I know my parents sacrificed and struggled in behalf of their namesake.  I hope I made it worthwhile for them. I pray that when I see them again I can hold my head up high with no regrets, but that too they will be glad to see me not sorry or wishing they'd done something else!
While in life we might wish things were different, really we wouldn't be who we are if they were and I am glad to be me and wouldn't change a thing in my circumstance molding me into the weirdy that I am today!
Thanks mom and Daddy for being my Mother and Father.

Don't be Immature, rise above it!

Two nights ago I had the strangest dream.  .  .

not going to outline it in detail cuz it was just too awful. but like I said documenting my dreams of late  is helping me work thru some issues.

There was a Death of a loved one. then
The return of another loved one bringing all the ingredients to make bread.

seems simple but the interp goes like this:

death of loved one

To dream about the death of a loved one suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what you like about them. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances... the dream indicates that whatever that person represents has no part in your own life anymore...If you dream about the death of a child, then it implies that you need to let go of your immaturity and start being more serious.

bread

To see bread in your dream represents the basic needs of life. Bread may signify the positive qualities and great things you have learned on your journey of life... it suggests that you need to rise above the situation or rise for the occasion.

Matthew Ren Happy Birthday!!!

MatthewRen

I'll never forget your crazy "Birth Day" when you came into the world and brought excitement and fear and so much love into our family.  It was so fun and so cold in Rocky Point.  Your mom was so excited and so tired of waiting for you you certainly did take your time, being 2 weeks late.  Gram was full of anticipation and the beautiful people where we all stayed awaiting this day was fun and in SPANISH!!!! you'd think I'd learn it by now :( this is just a little picture story to celebrate your birthday and say I love you.

You've come along way Baby!!!!

Matthew Love you so much,  Aunt Kel
